Matthew Henry was a nonconformist minister and author born in Gales, United Kingdom. He had an excellent success with his outstanding book of biblical commentaries: Exposition of the Old and the New Testament (1708-10).

Henry’s commentaries had a prestigious recognition of essentially the most famous evangelical preachers such us George Whitefield, Charles Spurgeon and John Wesley.

Charles Spurgeon wrote: Every minister ought to read Matthew Henry’s commentaries completely and punctiliously no less than once.
