What's new in this version:
New menu structure and support for the geofencing function.
To use the geofencing function, the firmware of the System Access Point must be updated to version 2.1.4 . This is made available as an automatic software update when you log in to the free @ home user interface as a user with installer authorization. Alternatively, the new firmware can be downloaded from www.busch-jaeger-katalog.de.
In addition, the firmware update 2.1.4 provides the following improvements:
Simplified user guidance in the configuration the merging of the menu items assignment and linkage.
Favorites can be sorted individually.
Geofencing: The new version enables automatic functions depending on the location of the smartphone or tablet.
Sonos: Sonos speakers integrated in free @ home can be operated in the app and integrated into scenes.
Description:
This smart home app enables programming and operation of your free @ home system. This transforms your house or apartment into an intelligent home, also known as a smart home. Whether blinds, lights, heating, air conditioning, door communication or light scenes. You can call up all functions individually - whether by switch, voice control or an app for smartphone and tablet. The app can then be conveniently operated from anywhere in the house or anywhere in the world. You can control all functions via widget without having to call up the app beforehand. Thanks to the best point-to-point encryption, local use and remote access via the Internet can be set up securely * and extremely user-friendly! Now you can surf the Internet with your mobile devices at the same time and control your heating or light from the same device via the free @ home app or simply call up the "house status".
Prerequisites for using the app:
The app only works with an installed free @ home system in your home. The free @ home system must be integrated into your home network for this. The home network must enable W-LAN connections, then access with your mobile devices and the app is possible.
Initial start-up for the specialist:
Your PC / laptop / tablet must be ready for this are in the same home network as the free @ home system access point. If this is the case, continue with the point "Start the free @ home app". If the system access point is not connected to the home network via a patch cable, establish a direct W-LAN connection with the free @ home system access point. Check whether the left LED on the system access point lights up green. If necessary, press the left button and wait until the LED glows solid green. Then select the W-LAN connection with the designation "SysAPxxx" in the network settings of your PC / laptop / tablet. The necessary security key for this connection can be found behind the cover of the system access point. Your PC / laptop / tablet now connects directly to the system access point.
Start the free @ home app.
Tap on your user name and enter your password . If you are logging in for the first time, enter a password of your choice twice. The app then automatically finds the system access point of the free @ home system and saves the login password. Information on the network settings can be found in the 'BRIEF INSTRUCTIONS FOR USERS' which is enclosed with the system access point.
