The tournament’s history.
The match comes from an concept of Marco Mezzetti, the founder and organizer of the occasion, and a Group of friends who helped him in the organization. The Tournament can be supported by two Bologna's basketball clubs S.G. Fortitudo Basketball and Pontevecchio.
Its creation is dated again in 2003. The major objective of the tournament is to offer Serbian youngsters the chance to know and reside what basketball, and never solely basketball, means in Bologna. Indeed, children from around Western and Eastern Europe can get closer to a special tradition, history and tradition. In order to be one of the Italian groups participating within the match it is obligatory to be out there to host one of the foreigns members, with out paying any registration payment. This is why part of the match name is ‘Gioca chi ospita’, which suggests laterally ‘Play who host’.
