No adverts, and no trackers - GPSTest shows real-time data for GNSS and SBAS satellites in view of your gadget. A important open-source testing device for platform engineers, developers, and energy customers, GPSTest also can help in understanding why your GPS/GNSS is not working.

The Accuracy feature enables you to measure the error in your gadget's place against your *actual* location (entered by you). Other apps present you the *estimated* accuracy, which is generated by your system. GPSTest allows you to to match this estimated accuracy to *actual* accuracy!

Menu options:

• Inject Time Data - Injects Time help information for GPS into the platform, using info from a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server

• Inject PSDS Data - Injects Predicted Satellite Data Service (PSDS) assistance information for GNSS into the platform, using info from a PSDS server. Note that some units don't use PSDS for help data - if that is your gadget, you will see a message saying Platform does not support injecting PSDS data. PSDS is the generic term for products like XTRA help data(http://goo.gl/3RjWX).

• Clear Assist Data - Clears all assistance knowledge used for GNSS, together with NTP and XTRA knowledge (Note: if you select this feature to repair broken GNSS on your system, for GPS to work again you might must ‘Inject Time’ and ‘Inject PSDS’ data. You can also see a large delay until your gadget acquires a repair again, so please use this characteristic with caution.)

• Settings - Switch between light and dark themes, change map tile kind, auto-start GPS on startup, minimal time and distance between GPS updates, maintain display screen on.
