My Rhymes

This application offers you access to 2 rhyming dictionaries: a French dictionary (106 000 words) and an English one (72 000 words). It will be positively helpful for songwriters: the variety of syllables and several options will help you to search out the proper phrase that fits to your melody.

Two separate searches can be found for both dictionaries:

1. Search for a rhyme

First you want enter a word (minimum two characters) and select the variety of syllables (from 1 to six and more). As an instance, in case you are looking for phrases rhyming with “cheese” in 2 syllables, an alphabetically sorted record of 1259 words will appear.

Then, you'll be able to scale back the number of words discovered with additional options like start with, contain or finish with. These options aren't essential for the initial search but will be useful to reduce the variety of results.
