Thanks to Scan Eat, discover all the composition of a product by scanning its barcode with your phone or looking for it on the utility.

ALL THE INFORMATION AT A GLANCE THANKS TO SCAN EAT

The result appears in the form of a Nutriscore from A to E, easy and colorful, which allows you to immediately know the quality of a food product. You will know if the product contains additives, allergens or palm oil, everything will be indicated thanks to clear and evocative pictograms. Is the product vegetarian or vegan? Is it made up of many additives or allergens? You will know it in the blink of an eye.

TOTAL INDEPENDENCE

We use the free and participatory OpenFoodFacts database (https://fr.openfoodfacts.org) which provides several hundred thousand products added by individuals. We want to educate you about your diet, away from all the food lobbies and other pressures. You will therefore obtain the composition of the food as it really is, not as some brands would like to present it to you.

A LIGHTWEIGHT AND SECURE APPLICATION

Scan Eat weighs less than 10mb, its launch and use are quick, navigation is easy. All personal information, your preferences and searches are all stored on YOUR phone. No one at half has access to it, which guarantees total confidentiality. Your information is your information, we will do nothing.

FOOD SCANNER

The food scanner of Scan Eat is powerful and very fast, in a few seconds, it identifies the code- bars of your food and the product sheet is displayed. You will find the content of fat / lipids, saturated fatty acids, sugars and salt. The presence or absence of allergens, additives or palm oil will be indicated to you in the form of pictograms. If the product has obtained a Label such as the Organic Label, Product in Brittany or Label Rouge, you will know it immediately as well.

ADVANCED SEARCH

Scan Eat allows you to search your food according to many criteria: its observation, its label, whether or not it contains allergens, additives or palm oil. You can look for a vegan or vegetarian food.

HISTORY AND FAVORITES

Find in these tabs all the products that you have consulted and those that you have put in favorites. To promote a food, all you have to do is click on the star appearing on its product sheet, the list of favorites is automatically updated, allowing you to easily find a product.

LISTS AND TOPS

You can create product lists that you can use as reminders or shopping lists! We will also offer you pre-established lists on various themes such as brunch or birthday tea! Tops are a selection of the most sought after products, best or worst ratings for a particular product category.

ADD PRODUCTS TO THE DATABASE

If you scan a product that does not exist in the OpenFoodFacts database, you can add it directly from the software and obtain the Nutriscore.
