Ad-Dukhan (Arabic: سورة الدخان suratu d-Duḫḫān, Smoke) is the 44th chapter (sura) of the Quran with 59 verses. The first verse is considered one of Quran's Muqatta'at, the letter combos that seem at first of some chapters. Verse 37 mentions the folks of Tubba, interpreters clarify that this refers to the individuals of Sheba. The phrase dukhan, meaning 'smoke', is mentioned in verse 10.
Whoever recites ad-Dukhan(44) on the night time of al-Jum’ah, 70,000 angels will say sorry for that individual till morning”. If anyone recites surah Dukhan within the night time he will see the morning whereas 70,000 angels search forgiveness for him.”
Hazrat Abu Hurairah radiyallahu anhu reported Allah’s Messenger sallallahu alaihe wasallam as saying, If anyone recites Ha-mim Al-Dukhan any evening, seventy thousand angels will ask forgiveness for him in the night.(Tirmizi)
